The remnants of Tropical Storm Cristóbal arrived in Northern Illinois this afternoon. We got hit with some of the storms in the outer bands that delivered some strong winds with occasional horizontal rain. I had my trusty Nikon Coolpix A with me (which I think I need to dedicate another post to after a recent Thom Hogan article…). I stopped by the Chapel Hills Gardens cemetery in Oakbrook Terrace on the way home from work. This shot of the Hippach Memorial Chapel shows some of the dramatic clouds moving (quickly!) over head before another round of horizontal rain moved through.
