Just doing a little more testing with NX Studio and getting a feel for how it works this evening. This time I’m trying to do it correctly and am reading the manual (shock!) while I’m playing with it. There’s a lot to digest (including the knowledge that I think I’ve been misusing Control Points but that’s a story for another post…). Meanwhile, I came across this shot of the grain elevator complex in Minooka, IL taken last January and decided that it was time to process and post this.
One of the ideas that I’ve been bouncing around in my head is a portion of my website dedicated to *all* of my grain elevator photos. Currently, I only have my best work showcased in the Icons of the Plains gallery. It would be nice to have a place to share my elevator photos with pertinent information (date of the photograph, for instance) and perhaps with links to Google Maps or something to show where I’ve come across these favorite buildings of mine. Of course, there’s a lot of other work I really need to tend to first and I don’t have a lot of free time as it is, so I don’t know when this would transpire. Something to work towards, perhaps.
