I’m still trying to get the hang of focus stacking since it’s a handy feature on the Z7. I’m trying out a couple of different stacking programs in addition to using Photoshop’s stacking abilities. This image was created with Helicon Focus. I played around with the settings quite a bit this evening and while I’ve minimized some of the ghosting and artifacts that were causing me issues when I used the Photoshop stacking function, they still remain and as it currently stands, this is not an image I’d feature in my portfolio. Hopefully I can dial in the controls a bit more because I do like this image quite a bit.
