Today’s Throwback Thursday takes us to 2012 when I photographed this grain elevator in Simla, Colorado along the abandoned Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific line east of Colorado Springs. Sadly, not terribly long after I took this shot, the elevator burned. I had hoped to make another trip and get better shots someday. Alas, it was not to be.
