I try to post a Throwback Thursday post on social media as much as I can. It’s fun to go back and look at what I did before. I’m also noticing that I’ve gotten a lot better at post-processing over the years so many of my photos look much better now than when I first posted them. I’m going to start sharing TBT in the blog as well. Here’s the description I posted with this one on social media:
#tbt time again. I thought I’d dial up something from the Tamron 180mm f2.5 since I’ve been thinking about that lens and how grateful I am that it allowed me to connect with Cath on Flickr.
This dates back to March of 2009. I used to wander out along the Limon sub late in the day quite often around this time of my life. The old Kansas Pacific never seemed to get the love that some of the other subdivisions around Colorado did. I always found it to be a hidden gem and have many memorable photos taken along that line.
Sadly, it’s been years since I did any train chasing out there. Maybe one of these days I’ll venture north and take a drive that way.
