There’s a display of flags in Oak Brook today commemorating every life lost 20 years ago. Each flag is tagged with a ribbon (yellow for civilians, red for fire fighters, blue for police, white for flight crew and red/white/blue for military personnel at the Pentagon) and a short brief about the person.
I tried to get a shot illustrating how expansive the display is but decided that it would be just as fitting to focus on a single name.
Capt. Patrick J Waters may be gone but he is never forgotten.
