New Work: FB Henderson Home

A very late post today but one that still keeps the blog streak alive. Here’s a photo taken in Elmhurst this evening. I’ll have more to say about the creation of the image soon but I’m pretty tired so I’ll leave my deeper thoughts for another day. For now, here’s the photo and the caption information included with the EXIF data in my Lightroom library:

The FB Henderson house is a Frank Lloyd Wright designed home in Elmhurst, IL dating to 1901. One of the greatest markers of Wright’s genius is just how well his designs have aged. It’s hard to imagine that this house is nearly 120 years old. It’s design is far more attractive and elegant than some of the much more modern homes in the same neighborhood.
