Today’s Throwback Thursday post dates to November of 2006. This is a photo of Cascade Falls at Matthiessen State Park, here in Illinois. Matthiessen is one of the state parks that is not yet open because of the Covid pandemic. Both Matthiessen and nearby Starved Rock are really, really popular, so I think opening them back up is going to be a little more tricky. Hopefully they’ll be able to be reopened at some point because I’d love to take the large format gear here.
